Crafting a Leather Belt by Hand with Horween Dublin Leather – DIY Project

In this video, we’ll be making a handmade leather belt using Horween English Tan Dublin leather, lined with black pigskin. The belt features a solid brass buckle and two leather loops.

It’s entirely hand-stitched using Fil au Chinois linen thread in a matching color, and the edges are hand-sealed and burnished with Tokonole burnishing gum.

This type of belt is considered casual and pairs nicely with light denim and either light brown shoes or sneakers. English Tan Dublin is known for developing a bold, rich patina over time while maintaining its flexibility.
