Edinburgh Scotland වල ඇවිදිනකොට අපිට මතක් වුන දේවල් | Sinhala Vlog | Sri Lankan Travel Family

After spending a nice time in Windermere, we took the train to the capital city of Scotland, Edinburgh. We stayed at The Hub by Premier Inn at Rose Street which was very conveniently located between the historic new and old towns. It made us very easy to explore the heart of Edinburgh since most of the places were just a walking distance.

Next day morning, we started walking to the Edinburgh castle. On our way, we saw many historic sites such as Royal Scottish Academy, New College - University of Edinburgh and walked through the cobbled alleyways to reach the well-known Royal Mile which stretches from Edinburgh castle to the Palace of Holyroodhouse through the old town of Edinburgh. Old buildings of the Royal Mile were charmingly decorated with Christmas decos.

After visiting Edinburgh castle, we enjoyed some bagpipe music on the street and took the city tour bus to explore the city of Edinburgh. Tolbooth Kirk, Scott Monument and Melville Monument were some of the highlights which showcases the historic majesty of this Scottish capital.

After touring the city, we stopped at traditional Christmas market at East Princess Street Gardens. There were a lot of foodies, traditional sweets, black pudding and home made items at this market. The market was indeed vibrant with Christmas vibes and decorative lights and rides for young and adults. Christmas market was our last stop that day.

We checked out from the hotel next day and visited St. Giles Cathedral on the Royal Mile. The Cathedral was filled up with live choral music. We then had a lovely lunch at Bertie's Proper Fish & Chips including some traditional black pudding of Scotland once again and headed to Edinburgh Waverley Train Station. We then took the train back to London.

At Kings Cross Station - London, we took some photos at platform 9 3/4 where Harry Potter movie was shot and this is where the Hogwarts Express train started in the movie. This was our final day in UK. Hope you enjoyed our vlogs in England and Scotland. Thank you for watching!
