The building, known as Cryo Stabilizer, was built decades ago when weather scientists discovered a catastrophic superstorm forming-a force so massive it threatened to plunge the planet into an endless ice age. With no time to lose, they constructed the facility at the storm's epicenter, powered by a vast machine buried beneath the ice to hold the blizzard at bay. When the work was done, the scientists tried to leave, but they vanished into the storm, never to be seen again. Over time, the Cryo Stabilizer became more than a stabilizing force-it became a refuge. Its crimson glow cuts through the endless snow, a beacon for the lost, and within its walls, autonomous machines tend silently to wounds, hunger, and exhaustion. Yet for all its warmth, there is an unsettling stillness, as though the machines still obey the unseen orders of their absent creators. The storm rages on, unyielding, and some wonder whether the Cryo Stabilizer is truly holding it back-or if the storm exists to keep the building sealed, a lone lifeline frozen in time against the endless cold.
