On Friday 4th October we said goodbye to really nice guy, by giving him a full military funeral.
Don Shepherd was a 104 years old & served in the Royal Engineers from 1939 to 1946. Basically the whole of the second world war .
We, the Shoeburynes & South Essex Branch of the Royal Artillery Association took Don his final journey on one of our WW2 25 pounder guns.
