👉 This project is a doorbell that rings only once, even if someone keeps pressing the button many times or holds it down. It uses two small timer chips and some other simple parts. After the first ring, it waits for a short time before it can ring again. This helps stop too much noise at home or office. The waiting time can be changed by changing a few parts. It is easy to make and uses cheap parts.
👉The components required to develop this project are -
~ LM555 timer
~ BC548 NPN transistor
~ 2N3904 NPN transistor
~ 5mm LED
~ 1N4007 diode
~ Resistors
~ Capacitors
~ 2-pin connector
~ 9V–12V battery or adaptor
~ Push-to-make switch
~ 9V/12V SPDT relay
👉The step-by-step process of building the project involves -
1. Collect all the parts from the list
2. Use the given PCB layout or a general PCB
3. Put all the parts on the PCB in the right place
4. Solder all the parts properly
5. Check all the connections to make sure they are correct
6. Place the finished circuit in a plastic box
7. Make holes in the box for fixing and air flow
8. Connect the push button and the bell to the circuit
9. Connect a 9V or 12V battery or adaptor
10. Press the button to test if the bell rings once
11. Close the box after testing
12. Keep the box in a safe and dry place
