Lionel Polar Express Dept 56 Dickens Christmas Village. Did something different this year for Christmas my friends. Took 6 weeks to build. Had never done anything like this before so I had a lot to learn. My area train club and the local hobby shop was tremendous help. Was trying to recreate the awe and wonder we had when we were young and looking in the department stores windows at the Lionel train displays that neither Santa nor our parents could afford but we enjoyed dreaming and looking anyways. Table is 80in x 80in. Lower track is a 2014 scale Signature Lionel Polar Express Heavyweight Passenger, Upper track is the 2014 scale Signature Lionel Texas Special Passenger. Display has 40 Dept 56 Dickens Villages. Christmas Tree rotates on motorized stand under table. Total height 12ft.
