Lucy Lawless' Family. Xena the Warrior Princess

Xena the Warrior Princess performed by Lucy Lawless is one of the actress’ most famous roles. However, it would be interesting to know that she first was very passionate about music world rather than moviemaking business. At school, she started participating in different musicals and performances and later entered a prestigious University in Auckland to study German, French and Italian languages. In 1989, a future star won a beauty contest and after that time her career boomed. In 1995 she got a role of Xena which brought her worldwide fame and recognition. These TV series had been lasting for six years and had amazing success all across the globe. During professional career, Lawless took part in over 50 TV series and still remains a high-sought celebrity.

The beautiful actress first walked down the aisle in 1988 with her then boyfriend named Garth. They both went to travel in Australia and later to Italy, where Lucy worked as an opera singer. Soon after their marriage, she got pregnant and this put an end to the adventures. They returned back to New Zealand to raise a child and six years later the marriage was over.

Since 1998 and up till present moment, Lucy has been happily married to a TV producer Robert Gerard Tapert. When they met for the first time, the movie star was still married and according to Tapert, he didn’t like Lucy at all, thinking that she was crazy. However, years later, they got married and parented two children.

From the first marriage, there is a daughter Daisy, who was born in 1988. Daisy is a talented film performer and is pursuing mom’s path in the moviemaking industry. She has already appeared in several movies and let’s keep fingers crossed to see her on a big screen more often.

With the second spouse, Lawless has two sons with Julius being the older one. He was delivered in 1999 but unfortunately, there is no available information about his either occupation or personal life.

The second son Judah was welcomed in 2002 and in accordance with Lucy, he is very interested in TV productions. So, let’s see what career he is going to pursue soon.
