This is an attempt to build an astro imaging rig with as much DIY as I can manage. The mount is designed around two size 17 harmonic reducers, which should mimic the performance of the ZWO AM5. I used the Fysetc E4 board with Onstep for the controller, it is very easy to use and I highly recommend it. The imaging scope is 3D printed using mostly carbon fiber reinforced nylon, it is an 114mm F4 Newtonian. The EAF is currently a work-in-progress.

and Laplase's 3D printed build on Cloudy Nights. However, most of the components in my build are CNC and manual machined.
The scope is a modified version of Dave's DBS 114 astrograph, which can be found on Printables. This is a very accessible design, I highly recommend checking it out.
If anyone would like to attempt something similar, I recommend Laplase's build since most components are 3D printed, making it much more accessible than machined components.
