Several viewers and readers at www.ontheglideslope.net have asked for a video tour of the basement sim, so here one is. I hope it answers some questions, and don't hesitate to ask others in the comments or at the blog. Also, I mis-spoke a couple of times in the video. I've modeled the cabin on a Cessna 182. The interior dimensions are 48 inches wide and 57.5 inches high. The panel is 46 inches wide (with an inch on each side for the glare shield). The panel template is from a Cessna 172, which I printed, cut in half, widened a bit, and then traced and cut out of MDF fiberboard with a jigsaw.
Sometimes in the video I say "172" when I mean "182" and vice versa, so I just wanted to clear that up.
