Abstract: The Ontario Cancer Registry SEER*Stat Package allows users to produce incidence, mortality, survival and prevalence statistics at different levels of geography for studying the impact of cancer on the Ontario population. The Package provides eligible users with access to data derived from the Ontario Cancer Registry and the National Cancer Institute’s SEER*Stat software.
This presentation explores the opportunities for public health actors to assess and report on the health equity impacts of a changing climate. Participants will also receive practical guidance on how to centre equity in climate adaptation and community resilience policies and programs.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
• Incidence and mortality counts and age-standardized rates.
• Relative survival ratios.
• Limited-duration prevalence.
