I remember at the time the videos were originally uploaded thinking that they looked pretty good, but indeed the resolution is quite low, I don't think the resolution ever climbed over 360p with his 2008-2010 uploads. Maybe with the smaller YouTube viewing window back then the low resolution was not as noticeable.
In any case it's so very cool to have many of his great GTA videos back on YouTube to relive & enjoy. . .
