Cleaning lens elements in Nikon serie E 50mm 1:1.8 with a mix of 25ml water which I put through a coffee filter bag, and 50ml Hydrogenperoxid 3% and for the final cleaning I try both lighter fluid and "Eclipse" sensor cleaning solvent.
It turn out to okay fine, but there was some mark's on the back lens element, that I could not take away.
To unscrew the screws and the retaining rings you should use a JIS crosshead screw driver, but I use a modified PH00 crosshead screw driver.
It can sometimes be a REALLY BIG problem to loosen some of the screws, and also the retaining ring that hold the lens elements in place, that's why I use "nail polish remover" with Acetone, simply to soften the thread locker.
