Welcome to Cooking with RegReg! I’m Regina and I love cooking for family and friends. I credit my mom and my grandmother for sharing their knowledge and their love for cooking, especially for others.

I know the challenges that come with creating a work-life balance. Unfortunately for us, that often meant hitting the drive through or take out on busy nights. In 2019 we listed our house for sale and in an effort to maintain a “show-ready” house we defaulted to drive through and take out dinners. Needless to say, it resulted in weight gain, sluggishness and frustration.

I had hit my limit and put a stop to the cycle by going back to meal planning, prepping and cooking. So I started to turn to my collection of “easy” weeknight recipes. My husband (camera man and editor) suggested that we help others by creating a YouTube channel to show just how easy it can be to prepare dinner at home vs. hitting the drive through.

In addition to the easy meals, I also show some of our family favorites that are more suited for weekends. I’m also a big fan of kitchen gadgets and since I really do a lot of cooking, my husband supports my kitchen gadget habit. I love passing on tips for tools that help with meal prep, so you’ll see a little bit of that too.

We also started a separate channel with some DIY and how-to experiences, especially featuring our newest hobby, acrylic paint pouring. If you’re looking for some DIY art inspiration, check out Before & After.
