The placemat measures approx. 30 cm x 23 cm (11.8 inches x 9 inches). You can adjust the size of the placemat by adding or substracting rounds and making the foundation row longer or shorter.
Materials used:
Sport weight yarn, size 2 - fine. I used Madame Tricote Paris Camilla mercerised 100% cotton yarn.
3 mm crochet hook.
Abbreviations (US terms):
st. - stitch, ch - chain, sp. - space, sl st. - slip stitch, sc - single crochet, hdc - half double crochet, dc - double crochet, ch3picot - ch3, insert your hook into base of that ch3, yarn over, pull through all loops on the hook.
