This Video walks you though the replacement of the Thermostat Housing on a 2008 Chrysler Sebring Convertible with the 2.4L four cylinder engine. The video walks you through all of the steps to gain access to the housing, removal and replacement of the housing and reinstalling the few items that were removed to gain access. Replacement of the Thermostat housing may be required if your vehicle is not reaching operating temperature properly due to a stuck open thermostat. Another common issue is that the housing may begin to leak where the housing bolts to the engine block. Coolant will begin to pool on top of the transmission and drip on the ground, leaving puddles under the car. This is a fairly straightforward beginner level repair and uses basic hand tools.
