Purple Island and Al Thakira Mangroves are a couple of natural gems found in Qatar. In this video we share our experience and everything you need to know about Purple Island and the Al Thakira Mangroves. Both Al Thakira Mangroves and Purple Island are located just outside the city of Al Khor which is about 1 hour outside of Doha. We recommend visiting both Purple Island and Al Thakira Mangroves at least once during your time in Qatar.
