Hey ya'll, hope your having a great weekend. I have a small little episode here today because I thought it could help out some other chicken owners as well.
I went to check on the ladies last night and while they were on the perch I noticed there was some bumble foot in my flock!
If you're not sure what bumble foot is, it is a bacterial infection that gets in the chickens feet and the only way to get rid of it is to literally cut it out. So that's what I did today.
Be sure to check your flock and if one has it there's a likelihood that another may as well as it is contagious.
So glad I caught it when I did and praying for a speedy recovery.
