【NTU Talks】 國際媒體人看天下 - 在德國之聲的經驗談｜鄒宗翰 World News and Foreign Press: DW Chinese Service as an Example

臺大雙語教育中心於2022年10月6日邀請德國之聲台北辦事處的鄒宗翰主任，來分享「國際媒體人看天下 - 在德國之聲的經驗談」。

鄒宗翰先生與我們分享：德國之聲身為德國的公共媒體，受到德國全體的監督，終極目標是傳遞新聞自由，並將自由資訊傳遞到沒有新聞自由的地方，因此，他們致力於將客觀、不下評論註解的資訊傳遞出去，留給看到這些資訊的人，自行思考、分析。

鄒宗翰先生也透過自己採訪不同政黨政治人物的影片為例，與我們分享身為媒體工作者 ，最重要的是尋找核心問題是什麼，因此他會問自己「臺灣人到底想知道什麼？」並由此來進行採訪，提供閱聽者區域化、本地化的採訪資訊，而能自行判斷如何解讀這些資訊。

Mr. Tzung Han Tsou, a worldly reporter from DW, came to NTU on October 6 and shared an inspiring talk with more than 120 students and faculty. Mr. Tsou commenced his speech by explaining the difference between a public and a commercial press. At DW, they believe in the value of freedom of speech and freedom of the press; in fact, one of their founding principles is to transmit information to places where the freedom of the press is banned by the government.
Mr. Tsou used a couple of video clips of his past interviews with officials from political parties in Taiwan to exemplify the unbounded questions they are willing to pose despite the fear of being blacklisted by these people. While asking himself what the readers really want to know, he provides regionalized and localized reports to the audience without exerting his own opinion.
Mr. Tsou’s talk was well-received by the audience. Although he could not answer everyone’s questions during Q&A due to time constrain, he posted his answers to the pre-talk questions on his Facebook Fanpage (https://reurl.cc/vWN4qe).
