Foothill Transit 2018 ElDorado National Axess BRT CNG

Here is a footage of Foothill Transit 2701 on the 280. Foothill Transit is currently receiving their new forty-foot buses, 2018-2019 ElDorado National (ENC) Axess BRT CNGs, which will be their last bus order in their history book. Their ElDorado Nationals will be the last order of CNG buses to replace their older CNG buses (2004-2005 NABI 40-LFW CNGs), prior to their objective which is to go electric by 2030. So far, the agency has received buses 2700-2720 and the list is expected to increase each day and once the order of 34 ENCs has been fulfilled, these buses will be more easier to be spotted and ride around the San Gabriel Valley. 2701 is one of the newer buses that have the fresh of a brand new bus and unique commuter seats called Lazzerini Srl - Pratico 3840 - 36 E - Leather seats and these seats are also in their other brand new ENCs. In addition, these buses will be similar to what LA Metro will be receiving for this upcoming year, except for a couple of different touches like their seats (LA Metro's ElDorado National Axess BRT CNGs will have standard seatings), transmission (LA Metro might possibly have Voith transmissions on their upcoming ENCs) and a few other things.

Foothill Transit F1425 (retired in 2018 due to engine fire), F1431 (retired in 2018 due to a blown engine), F1435, and F1436 are retired and currently up for auction at an auction site in the Jurupa Valley as of 1-19-19.
