WOMAN BUSTED: Fake $100 Bill Scam at Walmart - Bodycam

On August 15th, police responded to a call from a local Walmart after a woman, identified as Lisa, was caught attempting to pass a counterfeit $100 bill at a self-checkout register. Despite the bill being rejected multiple times, Lisa continued her attempt to use the fake currency. When confronted by police, she claimed she was unaware the money was counterfeit, stating that she received it as repayment for a debt and was planning to hang it on her wall as a collectible.

Police body camera footage captures the full investigation, including interviews with the concerned Walmart employees who witnessed the attempted felony. The employees confirmed that Lisa made multiple attempts to use the forged bill and wished to press charges. The officer also spoke with Lisa's friend, who was in a separate checkout line and claimed to know nothing about the counterfeit money, even stating it looked like "Monopoly money."
