This run shows a clean, no-nonsense clear of the Vast Void on Fast 9+ NG++, using the duo of the Cohabitants and the Flagellant. The entire game plan revolved around grabbing a fast defensive passthrough passive—the Ethereal Cloak—and then letting a simple damage package do the rest. We leaned on a Maggot holy laser build with explosive laser scaling, and once the pieces connected the screen slowed to a crawl while the beams absolutely deleted everything in sight. Even at the game’s most punishing speed, the Cohabitants’ utility plus Flagellant buffs made quick work of bosses and transitions, proving you don’t always need five fusions to win—sometimes lasers and a cloak are enough.
