Presenting the complete overview of the 2024 Atlantic Hurricane Season! During the season, 18 named storms formed, where 11 were hurricanes, and 5 were major hurricanes.
This season will be forever remembered as the season broke many records: Beryl becoming the earliest category 5, beating Emily in 2005. Helene, the second-deadliest storm that striked the United States in fifty years, after Katrina in 2005, and the overall deadliest since Maria in 2017. Finally, Milton: The third fastest rapid intensifying hurricane and the strongest hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico, since Rita of 2005.
