Lufthansa Airbus A320-271N | London Heathrow to Frankfurt *Full Flight*

The early morning shuttle from Heathrow to Frankfurt. LH923 scheduled to depart Heathrow at 07:30 for a hop across to Frankfurt. On this day in particular, we were the second departure of the day, only 1 other aircraft had taken off ahead of us. A busy flight, full of commuters and lots of people, like me with onward connections with Lufthansa to destinations further afield.
On stand at Heathrow, the window was covered in condensation unfortunately, but once on the move much of cleared and of course during the take off roll the windows do clear completely offering some spectacular views as we climb out of Heathrow and turn left to head in a south easterly direction towards the English Channel and across into Mainland Europe. Incredible views of Heathrow behind the sharklet and all the way up to our cruising altitude of 37,000ft the sunrise is absolutely breath-taking. So enjoy the views all the way across. During the descent and latter part of the approach unfortunately the beautiful sunrise, turned into an annoyingly low, winter sun glare and the lighting against the window isn't great in places until we turn out of the way. We were actually in parallel with another aircraft landing at FRA, but obviously the runways are very staggered, particularly 07L which starts much further down. But look out for that during the approach.
