Full Ingredients:
2 cups freekeh, washed well with hot water
• 2 tbsp oil
• 1 tbsp butter
• 1 onion, chopped
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1.5 cups mixed vegetables (fresh or frozen)
• 1 tbsp salt
• 1/2 tsp cumin
• 1/4 tsp black pepper
• 1/4 tsp turmeric
• 1.5 cups hot water
Instructions:
1. Sauté Aromatics:
• Heat oil and butter in a pot over medium heat.
• Add the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until golden
2. Cook the Freekeh and Vegetables:
• Add the washed freekeh to the pot and stir well.
• Mix in the vegetables, salt, cumin, black pepper, and turmeric.
• Pour in 1.5 cups of hot water and bring it to a boil.
3. Simmer and Cook:
• Once boiling, reduce the heat to low.
• Allow the freekeh to absorb the water, then cover the pot and cook for about 30 minutes until the freekeh is tender and flavorful.add more 5 mins then

• Fluff the freekeh with a fork, serve warm, and enjoy your nutritious meal.
