Xherdan Shaqiri made an impressive comeback to Swiss Football in 2024-2025 season by recording 21 goals and 22 assists in 39 matches. He had good partnership on the field with several players like Benie Traore, Albian Ajeti, Philip Otele who also had good seasons, insuring that the team had enough attacking width to keep Basel in Title chase.
