Tone Rosano shows us a Hendrix 'Finale' at the VEER Music Awards taken place at Elevation 27 in Virginia Beach, VA on February 2, 2025, and this performance was like one we've never seen before in tribute to The Jimi Hendrix Experience playing at the Virginia Beach Dome in the year of our Lord: 1968
This first part of this video, everyone got an introduction to what was to come, as they seemed to enjoy viewing Jimi Hendrix at Woodstock on the big screen playing the last bit of the 'Star-Spangled Banner', and then we showed the category "Album of the Year", and thennnn after that...
Anthony Rosano and The Conqueroos, here in this vid I edited down some, the band ends their 14 min set with an amazing "Third Stone From the Sun" and what I like to call "Feedback of the Amps", pretty cool...eh? I recall being afraid Tone might break out the lighter fluid and set the damn Fender Strat on fire, yet thinking "But how extremely crazy and cool would that be?" Not sure if Bill Reed of Elevation 27 would be too happy about that, chuckles.
This footage was shot by the great Pamela Ballard.
Sync'd up with audio that was recorded both off the soundboard that night and audience mics from 40 feet back from centerstage. Came out pretty well.
