Howard County Historical Society Lunch Date with History held a special holiday concert featuring organist Nelda Clelland. Nelda performed holiday-themed music using our historic 1885/1915 A.B. Felgemacher pipe organ.

Nelda Clelland is a classically trained pianist and organist who is comfortable with musical styles from 'Bach to be-bop'. She performs as a soloist and as an accompanist for any type of singer or instrumentalist. With 50 vears of experience as a church organist, instrumental and vocal accompanist, Ms. Clelland specializes in playing historic organs.

Nelda played a 1885 pipe organ built by the A. B. Felgemaker Company of Erie, Pennsylvania. The organ which was gifted to a church in the Midwest by Andrew Carnegie and found its way to the 1st Presbyterian Church (now the Museum of Howard County History) in 1915.
