Presentation 'Implementation of the European Biodiversity Strategy and the 30% protection objective' by Jorge Alonso Rodríguez, Head of the Protected Marine Spaces Area of the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge @mitecogob at the #OECMsWorkshop – Other Effective Measures Area-Based Conservation, organized by Cepesca within the Life #Intemares Project.
The workshop focuses on the identification, evaluation and presentation of reports on fisheries OECMs and how they can complement the Network of Marine Protected Areas to achieve the objective of "30% by 2030". Furthermore, it provides the opportunity for national authorities to exchange views with all interested actors.
Training included in the Training Strategy of the LIFE IP INTEMARES project LIFE IP INTEMARES: Integrated, innovative and participatory management of the Natura 2000 Network in the Spanish marine environment, coordinated by @fundacionbiodiversidad
