Jurerê is a beach and neighborhood located north of Florianópolis in Santa Catarina. It is popularly divided into two parts: Jurerê Internacional, a real estate development famous for its luxury residences, and the eastern portion of the neighborhood that already existed, hence the name Jurerê Tradicional. The beach borders both parts of the neighborhood and lies between Canasvieiras and Praia do Forte.

In the 1970s, with the paving of the SC-401 highway, the northern beaches became more popular. At the time, there were only the communities on Praia do Forte, fishing huts, and the Clube 12 de Agosto, which had already been established there, in addition to the Jurerê Real Estate subdivisions—one of them designed by Oscar Niemeyer. The rest of the area was planted with eucalyptus trees, attracting families for the shade.

The "traditional" portion has a local community, still with fishermen, but also with a presence of commerce and services—the region was influenced by the growth of tourism to Jurerê Beach. The region has access to Canasvieiras via Canajurê. Jurerê Tradicional also has one of the best sailing trails.
