BYLETH HIDDEN TECH BREAKDOWN! - Smash Ultimate

In this video, I break down and analyse the 5th and final DLC character in the first Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighters Pass, Byleth from Fire Emblem Three Houses! This newcomer appears to have some moves, combos and setups that are more useful than it seems, especially Byleth's wild 3 part recovery which is the focus of today's video with the recent discovery of new tech that enables Byleth to climb walls through a technique called wall climbing or wall climb. I will go over the ins and outs of this new tech and how it can be applied in a real match.

Whether or not this makes Byleth a top tier character remains to be seen as the new DLC fighter certainly has some unique combos, frame data and setups that help with her kill potential. In particular, Byleth's ledge game is some of the best in Smash Ultimate thanks to her up special/recovery, Sword of the Creator, that lets Byleth grab the ledge, similarly to Joker's Grappling Hook. In fact, there are lot more similarities between Joker and Byleth than you think ;)
