If you've ever experienced how brittle plastic can become over time, you know how frustrating it can be to have important interior parts fall apart in your hands during normal use.
In my case, I had to replace a speaker, and removal of both rear speaker grills caused them to crumble in the process with even the smallest amount of pressure. Luckily, I was able to create some new grills with some sheet metal and grill cloth that should be much more durable than the original plastic pieces.
