Produced by the National Society for Mentally Handicapped Children and the Spastics Society about the Brooklands Experiment organised by Prof. Tizard of London University to demonstrate the progress that can be made by children with learning disabilities when they are given the same care and training as other children of a comparable mental age. Classic pioneering film, now put on to DVD.
This film was made in 1969 in black and white, so the film and sound quality is not to modern standards. This should not diminish its value as a historic record. Also the terminology is of that time.
