This is not just a dance video ~ it’s a story…
A love story told through feminine movement, real fire, and the spirit of the horse ~ set in the timeless landscapes of Egypt.
Filmed between Saqqara and the Great Pyramids, and a rooftop overlooking the pyramids view, this music video unfolds like a dream carried by “Alf Leila wa Leila” or “One Thousand and One Nights”.
✨ The Story Within the Dance
The film opens in stillness.
One woman stands alone, facing the pyramids (back to the camera) hips moving dramatically, as if listening to an untold fantasy. Subtle imagery appears: Arabian horse silhouettes, hoofbeats, echoes. A presence is being felt before it is seen.
As the music unfolds, two additional dancers enter the story, arriving with ISIS wings, not as background performers, but as characters ~ each carrying her own feminine passion. White Arabian horses appear, flashing through the narrative like destinies calling forward.
When the music shifts, the two other dancers meet their horses.
Fire palm torches are lit, symbolizing the initiation of connection. Not a romance between man and woman, as so often told in classical Arabic music, but a devotion between woman and horse. A spark. A bond of wild feminine, intuition, and shared freedom.
As the energy builds through the story of each girls connection, a black Arabian stallion begins to appear.
This is the turning point.
When the central dancer steps forward to meet the black stallion, the fire grows larger. The other women light her fire fans, and the flame becomes brighter, bolder ~ a fierce love. The passion deepens as the lyrics unfold. The emotion becomes undeniable.
As the fire fans burn, and the girl and the black stallion bond…
A false ending arrives… and then MOTION.
THEY ride.
Galloping through the desert, surrounded by pyramids older than memory itself, the story expands beyond the human timeline.
🔥 Honoring the Feminine Collective
As the music changes again, the story spotlights the other dancers, and their independent styles. For over a minute, they are featured in freestyle ~ balancing candle trays and a shamadan on their heads… grounded, radiant, and sovereign in their own expressions.
In the final minute, all three women return together.
No fire.
No horses.
No spectacle.
Just sisterhood.
Dancing on the initial rooftop terrace overlooking the Great Pyramids, the story closes with presence, unity, and reverence ~ for emotion expressed by movement, the land, and the feminine lineage carried forward.
This project is an offering…
…to Egyptian music,
…to belly dance as cultural art,
…to horses as sacred companions,
…to fire as transformation,
…to the feminine as a source of power.
If you are a dancer, a horse lover, a traveler of inner and outer worlds, or someone who feels Egypt in their bones ~ this story is for you. ❤️
