Two days on the mountain.
Cold, altitude, doubt — not just from the climb, but from the people meant to guide us.
From the start, we were made to feel like we wouldn’t make it by our own mountain guide (like? can you believe it?).
That the summit was out of reach.
That we were already behind.
Summit push day came with time chasing us.
The cut-off was 7:00AM.
We arrived at 7:15AM.
A little late, yes.
But after everything — the exhaustion, the pressure, the doubt, we still stood at the top of Mount Kinabalu.
This isn’t a perfect summit story.
It’s a real one.
And we did it 🏔️
