Here are the team of Pokémon in this video, which was decided by the random number generator.
P1 Team: Fearow, Exeggutor, Rhyhorn, Seel, Ponyta, Hypno
CPU Team: Pidgey, Ledyba, Wigglytuff, Espeon, Sneasel, Clefable
Then, I will list the moves for each Pokémon in battle, starting with my team.
Fearow: Drill Peck, Hyper Beam, Pursuit, Toxic
Exeggutor: Egg Bomb, Confusion, Nightmare, Sleep Powder
Rhyhorn: Earthquake, Rollout, Iron Tail, Scary Face
Seel: Surf, Ice Beam, Headbutt, Safeguard
Ponyta: Fire Blast, Headbutt, Iron Tail, Sunny Day
Hypno: Confusion, Dream Eater, Psych Up, Hypnosis
The CPU's team of Pokémon and moves.
Pidgey: Fly, Return, Steel Wing, Sand-Attack
Ledyba: Double-Edge, Ice Punch, Reflect, Safeguard
Wigglytuff: Double-Edge, Fire Punch, Disable, Sing
Espeon: Psybeam, Swift, Tail Whip, Psych Up
Sneasel: Ice Punch, Beat Up, Slash, Screech
Clefable: Metronome, Headbutt, Ice Punch, Encore
The CPU lead for this battle is Pidgey, and I start this battle off with Ponyta, while I could keep it in to fight Pidgey, I decided to switch out, as I might need Ponyta for when Sneasel comes in. I switch in Seel as it has Ice Beam to deal some super effective damage to Pidgey, but it can inflict some damage with Return. I do have Fearow for backup to finish off weakened opponent, but the downside is it cannot outspeed Espeon.
The Normal-types are some of the more challenging opponents on the CPU side due to their good HP, depending on which one comes out, I have to let Seel faint and then bring in another Pokémon, and the harder one to fight is Clefable as it knows Ice Punch, and I have many Pokémon weak to Ice-type moves. The best way to deal with that is to bring in Hypno and use the Hypnosis and Dream Eater combo as not even Confusion is enough to get in enough damage against Clefable. Then for Wigglytuff, I do have Rhyhorn which resists all of Wigglytuff's moves, and the recoil damage from Double-Edge can help in getting its HP down.
Then for the rest of the CPU team, Ponyta can take out Sneasel with Fire Blast, and Exeggutor can fight Espeon as it resists Psybeam, and it can use Sleep Powder and Nightmare, as that can help get Espeon's HP down a bit, and Egg Bomb to get in some damage. For Ledyba, depending on when it comes out, I can use whichever Pokémon that I have left, Fearow's Drill Peck or Ponyta's Fire Blast are the best options for that, while Rhyhorn does have an easy advantage with Rollout, Ledyba can deal super effective damage with Ice Punch.
