We decided to go to Kalasin, about 2 hours drive from home, with Suphansas aunt and her family, to visit the beautiful Wat Phutthawat Phu Sing.
Warning: You have to walk the 654 steps up the long and steep stairways to get to the temple at the top, but once there the view and atmosphere is to die for. There is a shuttle service though, and you can also drive up the narrow serpentine road if you dare.
