Panamá Canal crossing - Ep99

Hi everyone and welcome to our SailingTripFamily Youtube Channel. As promised this is the whole video about our Panama Canal crossing. It took around 11 hours and we had a such nice day.  To cross this canal we have to pass 3 locks, the first one is “Gatun”, the second one “Pedro Miguel”, and the last one “Miraflores”. Each lock is composed of 2 or 3 gates. It’s so impressive to pass those gates behind those huge container ships, and the current is so strong but fortunately ropes from the peer maintain us. We have to use our own engines to keep going but small trains along the peer pull the big ships.


Like Abraham Lincoln said “ In the end, it’s not the years in your life count, it’s the life in your years”          …..  Enjoy !!!
