Have you ever heard the call of a grey partridge?

The grey partridge is an endangered species in our bleak agricultural landscape, and unfortunately it has taken a good deal of luck to encounter them in recent years. However, if you're wondering whether you have partridges near the place you live, you don't necessarily need to see them directly. Just listen to the mosaic of meadow sounds during the warm spring evenings and try to identify the typical croaking voice.

While processing footage for a client, I came across this archival footage and realized it wasn't very traceable in my portfolio. So here it is, enjoy the sound! 🐔
