What Lurks Beyond - My High School Horror Movie Recovered and Restored

The year was 1992 and My Co-op teacher, Ms. Crabb told me to "make a movie". I had very little experience and no idea how to write yet, so let's just say we borrowed a few ideas and lines from one of my all time favorite 80's movies, **P-O-L-T-E-R-G-E-I-S-T** I was in Awe of Directors like Spielberg and Hooper and loved dreaming up ways to pull of their movies effects ultra low budget.

Recently I came across this video on a VHS from nearly three decades ago. I digitized it as best as I could and then over the course of the pandemic, I have spent time here and there, fixing it up and adding a few bells a whistles.

I'm still friends with many of the other then kids that helped me make my project come to life. Everyone was so creative and we all had a blast doing it. I hope this brings back some fun memories for anyone that participated or remembers that era or went to FHS, circa 1990's. I'm sure many have kids of their own now you can share this with.

Synopsis

Strange things have been happening at 133 Leeds Drive! Sara and Jessy don't think much of them and decide to throw a party when their parents are away around the holidays. When the paranormal activities escalate and ghostly apparitions abduct their friend Jenny through the television, they must confront their worst nightmares. They seek out the help of Parapsychologist Taranah, who comes to their aid and attempts to open the doorway to the other dimension. Can they save Jenny before the doorway closes?
