On Oct. 9, 2025, the Health Policy Institute of Ohio hosted its second annual Ohio Health Policy Summit. Dr. Michael Gillette, founder of Bioethical Services of Virginia, Inc. gave the keynote address titled "An ethical framework for decision-making in a time of scarce resources." Given the federal political and fiscal climate, as well as the climate in Ohio, health policy leaders are making challenging decisions on how best to use limited resources. This interactive plenary session provided attendees with a framework for navigating ethical challenges in a time of scarce resources.
