Hi and welcome to the Basement. Today I'm going to take a look at Drivewire. Drivewire 3 is a very simple way of using a cable to teather your Coco computer (be it a 1,2 or 3) to a PC and then use said PC as a bunch of floppy drives. The Drivewire package consists of two .wav files (to load to your Coco), the Drivewire GUI (for the PC) and a cable (which you can buy online or make yourself (a quick Google search will get you a cable diagram). The cable in its simplest form consists of three wires going from the Coco's Serial I/O port to one of the PC's COM ports. Don't worry if your PC has no COM ports (many modern PCs don't), you can easily use a USB to serial adapter to connect the cable to the PC).
