Hi all. I was asked how fast my brushless Tamiya Hornet is and I just had to go and find out. This has a 3421kv Absima Thrust brushless set and a 4000mah lipo battery. It was rather difficult to get this up to top speed with the lack of traction and general rubbish handling but I managed eventually.
Thanks to Damian at Dusty Fingers RC for the top tip about adding oil shocks to the front of this. These Grasshopper 2 A arms are a bit wider than the stock ones so you need to make longer steering rods too which he also covers in his video • Tamiya Grasshopper Upgrades including Oil ...
