Hello Friends! Happy Father's Day! 👔

Today I'm using a 12x36 inch gallery wrapped canvas, we are going to do another Wandering Straight Pour in some of my favorite bold colors.

My Colors are:
Golden's
Jenkins Green
Van Dyke Brown
Quinacridone Burnt Orange

24K Gold
-Champagne Gold

plus Drips from DragonSkin Pour

My Pouring Medium recipe is:
Liquitex Gloss Medium & Varnish
Golden's GAC800
Paint + a bit of Water
Floetrol

I layer my cup carefully down the side and keep contrast in mind.. light dark, light dark.. I get 16 ounces of paint ready to pour.

I pour a runway of gold down the length of the canvas to pour my cup into.. then I pour a straight pour along the length of the canvas. I use my drips around the pour to help it slide and move easily. I tilt to cover the corners and I'm done!
I also have a 12x12 canvas and more paint left.. so I ask the Husband of Awesomeness what pour he wants to see, he says Straight Pour. .. here we go! I pour a little more paint in my cup, about 5 ounces total and pour a straight pour into a puddle of gold. The darker green is blending.. Im not crazy about it, so I pour a little more paint in my cup, minus the green.. then I pour a straight pour and end it with a bit of a ring pour to give it a nice center. I like this one much better, the Burnt Orange and Gold and Van Dyke Brown together are wonderful! Very bold and strong colors! I love it!
