The Wheelwitness HD Pro Plus is a very good dash camera. Its small square size is great for older classic cars with "flat" angled windscreens set very close to the rearview mirror. Today's modern cars have more curvy and larger windscreens that give plenty of "real estate" for the camera to "live". The camera has a 140-degree fish-eye lens which is suitable for me at this time.

This being my first dashcam the clarity at night is pretty good. Not what one would expect from a Sony lens. I admit, my windshield's status was that of your average windshield status, a little dirty. But no matter, street lights were blurry, illuminated signs were not crisp, and only some license plates were readable at night.
The LED screen size is fine, but it is hard to see exactly where the lens is pointing at times. It is like when you can't see your cellphone screen in certain bright situations. I have found that adjusting the camera via my cell phone using the WiFi works very well.
As for the WiFi, some have complained about the "long downloading" time. If you want HD type quality video, you are going to have to sit and wait. That is just the nature of huge files flying through the air (aka WiFi). But if you have the patience, just take the SD card into your home and transfer the video files directly to your PC / external hard-drive.
The instructions for setting up the WiFi are pretty simple but more clarity is needed on finding where the videos are located! I did eventually learn that to "Pull Down to Refresh" means placing your finger in a certain area to "activate" an orange line to appear (This is not mentioned in the instructions) Once that appears, you then touch it and swipe downwards to gain access to the videos stored in the camera. THEN you can download via WiFi into your phone. It took me several attempts before I got the hang of it. Otherwise, the video records and transfers to my smartphone (Tracfone Samsung Galaxy Premier) just fine.
In all, I chose this product based on reviews and am overall content with my decision. Thank you for reading. I have included a video that shows how the dashcam records in various weather settings as well as day and night times.
NOTE: My 1985 windsheild, does cause dashboard glare onto the windscreen and unfortunately there is no way around this annoyance as of yet.
