I've tested to make a painting with Australian Floetrol and pillow paint and using the 'Bloom' technique.
First I poured the pillow paint and added different colours in a puddle in the middle of the canvas. The cell activator will be added as last. After this I blow out the colours in the puddle, like peddels of a flower.
The cell activator should spread over the other colours so you will get beautiful cells and lacing. In this case there's after blowing out still too much white of the cell activator in the middle of the piece and it doesn't make the cells and lacing as beautiful as it should. Possibly the mix of the cell activator isn't quite yet what it should be.
To create a design in the artwork I swirl some lines into the piece. I have chosen for lines to make it just look like a flower. After this I spin the turntable so the design will spread over the canvas.
At last I scrape off the paint underneath the painting and it's ready to dry.
Most of my paintings will be finished with a coat of varnish.
