World's End LLANGOLLEN Epic Ride!

Based on Jason's recommendation as well as Christian & Marc riding this loop recently, had to check out the crazy World's End single track descent especially as Llangollen is only an hour away for me.

I was joined by Steve and we were blessed with glorious sunshine, stunning views throughout the ride 😎👌

The loop starts and finishes at the small road-side parking area off Trevor Quarry (Panorama Walk, Llangollen LL20 8EG).

First descent 'Sheep Track' is definitely steeper and more technical than it looks on camera but still great fun! This is followed by a gentle climb along the top of the escarpment heading north towards the World's End area (in the direction of Llandegla trail centre). A lovely rolling descent takes you towards the start of the main event 'Panorama Screed Run' which is preceded by the narrow and rocky 'Hell's Teeth' running alongside the woods and tight against a barbed-wire fence line!

As you'll see on the video, Steve experienced a heart-stopping moment when his rear tyre lost grip on the loose soil going down the exposed single track descent... luckily nothing serious except for a grazed shin 😜 Could have been much worse!

Once we got back to the parking area, we then headed back up the Panorama Walk tarmac road for a second time to drop into the final descent of the ride called 'Quarry Track'. Again, another belter of a trail which has a sharp turn towards the end you have to watch out for 😁
