VW Performance 1916cc Engine upgrade in my Bug

An upgraded 1916cc engine in my 1971 Beetle. I had not long run the new engine in. The only old part was my alternator and clamp from my 1500 engine. The clamp broke and the alternator threw the belt. The Engine quickly overheated and I damaged the cylinder head on cylinders 3 & 4. Here I installed a new cylinder head. I took the opportunity to re paint my grey engine tin to a black metallic. I also wrapped my sidewinder headers. My next video shows the engine installed in my car and a start up.
