Hey everyone and welcome back to another cross country adventure. I will admit that editing the flight reports can sometimes be tougher because you need to be aware of copyright music in the terminal at times and other things. But the 2nd semester of Exceptional Minds was a great success. Had a fun time with the 3D Animation Course and had cool friends and gaming clubs to keep me company. I was returning to NYC to see friends and family over the weekend, and to complete the last (B) Train ride during Rush Hour before the Brighton Line began their reconstruction at Church Av. And it was certainly a weird feeling to not have the screens working at JFK here and the countdown clocks working on the subway. Several flights were cancelled as a result of the outage, so we were lucky. The outage was caused by a faulty update to its Falcon Sensor security software, and the outage would affect many businesses and daily lives. The faulty update caused roughly around 8.5 million Windows computers to crash and not restart properly. It was considered the largest outage in the existence of information technology. Luckily, most activity in NYC wasn’t affected. Despite the outage, American provided a great flight and a nice experience and I hope you guys enjoy this one.
