Set in 1962 in the seemingly quiet town of Derry, Maine, the series introduces a family and a group of local kids who begin to sense something deeply wrong beneath the surface of their community. As strange disappearances, unsettling sounds and suspicious activity mount, the town’s dark history begins to unravel—and a malevolent force stirs in the shadows. With new allies and old secrets coming to light, the residents of Derry are drawn into a growing nightmare they may not be ready to face. The series stars Taylour Paige, Jovan Adepo, Chris Chalk, James Remar, Stephen Rider, Clara Stack, Amanda Christine, and Mikkal Karim-Fidler, with Bill Skarsgård (who also serves as an executive producer) reprising his role as Pennywise from the films
