EASY TO TIE TEASER TYPE SINGLE ASSIST HOOK FOR FAST JIGGING
In this video, I show you how to tie a very simple teaser type single assist hook for fast jigs.
Although there are no measurements used here, this assist hook will work on a lot of long jigs - I also used a figure 8 solid ring for this tie - something I almost always don't use. There are a lot of people who swear by the effectivity of this type of assist hook - and I was probably the first person to tie a fly/assist hook hybrid back in the day - I don't use a lot of these types these days and opt to use the naked assist hooks - however, if this is the sort of thing that gives you a bit more confidence, go ahead and follow along!
This is a very simple and straightforward way to do something of this sort - down the line, we will make more complex ones.
